I found this pillow on Etsy. Simple design, lovely color and patterns/textures making it interesting. Wouldn’t mind having this at all, very cute!

Because of the stitched-on beads and 3D elements (and the price), I didn’t file this under Children’s Items or Children’s Decor. If you want to give your child a $110 pillow to gnaw on, be my guest. Personally, I’d rather an adult gnawed on it.

I think what I like about it, above other renditions of the same basic concept (in other mediums), is the simplification and lack of detail. Sure I like the moon face as much as the next person, but this leaves a bit more to the imagination. And let’s face it, anything individually handcrafted not in China can’t be all bad!

The Alien Abduction Lamp™ is about the best thing I’ve seen all year. Personally, I prefer the Lamp with Bovine Abductee. It’s only in concept stage, and was all over the blogosphere last year; here’s hoping someone produces it!

A light bulb inside the metal UFO lights up the beam and the windows. The glass of the beam is frosted to distribute light in all directions.

This amazing sideboard cabinet (via Yanko Design) sports a beautiful full moon across most of its surface, which glows in the dark. Even uses eco-friendly paint!
