Pair Of Outer Space Retro Rocketship Astronomy Cobalt Wine Glasses

This Etsy find, for the wine aficionado. (Which, by the way, I am not.)

Space, the final frontier (insert Star Trek theme here). Pictured is one of a set of two wine glasses. These beautiful cobalt wine goblets with clear stems stand 7-1/2 inches tall and hold 13 ounces (they also come in all clear glass). Adorned with images of stars, moons, planets and spaceships these wonderful glasses will make all your wines taste heavenly!

Space Shuttle Bunk Bed

This popped up under a search in Google Shopping: a space shuttle-themed bunkbed. Where was THIS when I was growing up? Does it come in a queen??

Apollo pillow

Apollo pillow

I found this pillow on Etsy. Simple design, lovely color and patterns/textures making it interesting. Wouldn’t mind having this at all, very cute!

Because of the stitched-on beads and 3D elements (and the price), I didn’t file this under Children’s Items or Children’s Decor. If you want to give your child a $110 pillow to gnaw on, be my guest. Personally, I’d rather an adult gnawed on it.

Man in the Moon Mirror

Sculpted wood Man in the Moon mirror

Found this handsome “Man in the Moon” mirror while browsing around at random on Google Shopping:

Multiple layers of wood highlight a subtle ‘Man in the Moon’ and elegantly envelops a mirror to create a focal point that demands attention on any wall. Russian birch wood and Indonesian lauan wood are laminated, carved, and sanded to reveal the hidden beauty within the layers. Individually handcrafted in Florida, this mirror features a smooth, durable, semi-gloss transparent finish which requires no special care.

I think what I like about it, above other renditions of the same basic concept (in other mediums), is the simplification and lack of detail. Sure I like the moon face as much as the next person, but this leaves a bit more to the imagination. And let’s face it, anything individually handcrafted not in China can’t be all bad!
